Credits and subscription usage
Paid credits come from credit packs; free credits may come from invite keys, coupons, or activity rewards. Watching an ad does not add credits.
Meetings use subscription usage first, then free credits and paid credits. Actual usage determines the charge. Check the estimate in meeting setup before starting.
When a meeting becomes paid
A meeting becomes a coin meeting when any free condition is missed. The estimated credits are shown before you start.
- Any choice that misses a free condition — a meeting type other than Conversation (Design, Verdict, or Review), a non-public meeting, an outcome outside the four free ones, using an output, an attachment, evidence, web search, or reasoning, more rounds, participants, or longer utterances, or a model above the low price tier
- The outcome is Idea pool, Comparison table, or Concept map
- You use a purchased outcome (Proposal, Procedure, Schedule, Roadmap, Research report, Presentation) — it is a coin meeting whether or not you bought it

Monthly subscription tiers
Tiers differ in monthly usage and concurrent meetings. Subscription usage is separate from your credit balance, resets each month, and does not carry over.

API and MCP charges
API and MCP calls are charged in credits (Cr) regardless of purpose, and there is no free trial or free single use. Charges draw subscription usage first, then purchased credits, and actual usage is the billing basis.
Each call can carry a cost ceiling in USD — cost_cap_usd stops the run before exceeding it. Omit it to use the server default.
The usage object on the response carries the credits actually deducted: completion_tokens, total_tokens, and cost are that value, while prompt_tokens is 0.
